Evangeline ‘Angel’ Waldron is a lover of all-things Communications. She has dedicated her career to Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising for over fifteen years. She was a Director of Communications at American University and Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. She served as a national spokesperson and representative to the media. and has regularly appeared in broadcasts for Wall Street Journal Radio, CNN Radio and NPR as well as ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX television affiliates.
Angel has recurrently been quoted in articles by USA Today, Forbes magazine, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and WebMD, among others. In addition to public speaking, she has personally managed and nurtured partnerships with Pharmaceutical companies (Genentech, Teva, AstraZeneca, Novartis, Mylan), the National Basketball Association, Product manufacturers (L’oreal, Acuvue, BreatheRight), coalition organizations and PR firms. She has also written and edited articles for consumer health magazines such as Coping, ADVANCE and Health Monitor.
Angel worked in communications for organizations including GUYAID and the National Tobacco Independence Campaign, advertising agency WB Doner & Co. and media placement firm Mentzer media.
Angel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Communications Management from the University of Maryland.
